For the opening exhibition of Casa Daros, curator Hans-Michael Herzog selected emblematic works by artists Doris Salcedo, Fernando Arias, José Alejandro Restrepo, Juan Manuel Echavarría, Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Miguel Ángel Rojas, Nadín Ospina, Oscar Muñoz, Oswaldo Macià and Rosemberg Sandoval. Cantos Cuentos Colombianos includes examples of the artists' process and techniques, and includes installations, videos, photographs, objects, performances, and acoustic works that are a part of the Daros Latinamerica Collection. The exhibition, first presented in Zurich, Switzerland, in two parts (2004-2005), was the largest exposition of contemporary Colombian art yet shown in Europe.
