The Broad museum commissioned Carlos Cruz-Diez's original work, Couleur Additive, as part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, an exploration of Latin American and Latin American art at over 70 cultural institutions across Southern California. The public artwork will take place on four cross works at the intersection of West Second Street and Grand Avenue. Couleur Additive brings vibrant streaks of green, blue, and orange to the ordinary white stripes of pedestrian crosswalks. It will be on view from September until 2018.
