Sicardi Gallery is pleased to announce that Miguel Ángel Rojas is included in a new exhibition opening July 4 at Fundación Proa, Buenos Aires. Continuing through September 13, 2015, the exhibition, Colección Daros Latin America, presents for the first time in Argentina the Daros Collection.
Curated by Katrin Steffen and Rodrigo Alonso, the exhibition includes of drawings, sculptures, paintings, objects, installations, videos and site-specific pieces that present a comprehensive and contemporary approach to the new generation's Latin American artists.
Geopolitical tensions, public and private violence, resistances and utopias, and human body as social conflict, are some of the topics addressed by the chosen pieces, carefully selected aiming to transform the exhibition space as a subject of analysis and debate.
The Daros Latinamerica Collection has one of the largest directories of Latin American art world.
