On the occasion of the exhibition Impressions | Abstractions (Master Printmakers from Latin America), Sicardi Gallery hosted a public printmaking workshop by Houston-based artist Marie Leterme. The workshop introduced visitors to the processes of monotype, collagraph, and serigraph-making, with hands-on opportunities to make prints. The exhibition Impressions | Abstractions coincided with Print Matters Houston, a city-wide celebration of the medium of printmaking.
