To occupy the Pinacoteca do Estado with an anthology means revisiting the present, charged with past - to occupy the place where Ana Maria Tavares inaugurated her career. In what way does the history of the space already see itself reverberated in the work and vice versa, even before their effective existential interaction with each other?
